Arkane Art draws upon aesthetics of abstraction and deconstruction, symbolism and archetype to explore alternate realities and speculative futures. Established by Stephen Kane as a contemporary artistic practice, Arkane Art is by extension an independent creative studio, integrating the disciplines of Art and Design.
Lightscapes is an ongoing art project investigating abstraction through the modulation of optical light. Utilising in-camera effects and post-photographic digital manipulation, each series explores themes of sensory perception, pattern recognition and gestalt theory.
